In coastal Denmark, in the twilight of a loveless marriage, Frederik believes his wife, Rosalinde, is trying to poison him. His paranoia deepens with the arrival of Aisha, a live-in night nurse. In a desperate act to ensure his own survival, Frederik switches his wife’s heart medication, leading to her untimely demise.
