SYNOPSIS:
"Deeply" is a modern day romance involving two men discovering their sexuality in a metrosexual fame obsessed world. it could be shot very cheap as it has no stunts and is more dialogue driven. "Deeply" is the coming of age in love tale of Kyle Parker, who begins this journey as a wallflower at a small Portland, OR high school who has a man-crush on the local theater stud, Hunter Bennett. Kyle longs to just know Hunter but graduation comes and they both go their own ways. A couple years later Kyle is a college student questioning his sexuality but not wanting to act on it with any men he meets. Hunter meanwhile has gone on to become a closeted CW actor on a nighttime teen soap with several "beards" to protect him from exposure. A chance encounter brings Kyle and his crush together and a spark ignites between the two and they embark in a sexual and romantic relationship that seems doomed to fail at every point. Kyle likes women yet cant figure out why Hunter is the only male he loves and Hunter has a tragic childhood that leaves him insecure and self destructive. The duo faces trials and tribulations, fame and fortune, tabloid fodder, cheating and other relationships, birth and death, all over the course of 8 years in their relationship with each other and the variety of characters in their lives. No man questioning his sexuality wants his troubles out in the open but what happens when your love story is forced to play out in the unforgiving and homophobic media?
