SYNOPSIS:

A Piece of the Moon is an adult drama/fantasy about spousal and child abuse with vindication coming from a surprise source. It is an inspiring story, serious yet funny at the same time. It is an irreverent romp of two unlikely characters escaping a mental hospital and finding shelter in a dimly-lit cave located in the Austin, TX environs. Ultimately it is a love story but not in the proverbial sense.
