Two next-door neighbors, one needing to get somewhere and the other to get away, embark on an unexpected road trip across America that will redefine what they want from life and from each other
SYNOPSIS:
STEVIE and NICK have lived next door to each other in the same New York apartment building for years. One morning, their feet collide and then move on. Both get bad news. Stevie's car is towed away. Nick has cancer. They meet again at an art museum, while Nick is on guard duty and Stevie is ending a relationship. During their belated introductions, Stevie is thrilled to realize that their names together make up "Stevie Nick," popularly known as the Queen of Rock and Roll. Fired from a waitressing job and without funds to retrieve her car, Stevie is at a loss on how to visit her comatose mother, now about to be disconnected from life support, in a Texas hospital. Meanwhile, after visiting the cancer ward, Nick has decided to forego radiation treatment in lieu of embarking on a road trip. Stevie and Nick discover that their goals intersect, though neither knows the other's reasons. So begins their serendipitous journey through North Dakota and Arizona, ending in Texas. From passing through a dying town to hiking in a national forest, from drinking at a jazz club to seeing the Grand Canyon and staying in a string of separate motel rooms, they discover each other for the first time. Together they outrun their past only to realize that there might not be a future they can both overtake.

Stevie & Nick sounds interesting, Nelda De La Paz. It's kind of like a modern-day Thelma & Louise. I think your logline could be tightened up a tiny bit at the end. I suggest changing "that will redefine what they want from life and from each other" to "*that redefines what they want from life and from each other." Also, the logline needs a period.
