SYNOPSIS:

The plot follows a tough teenage girl named Valentyne, who shows up on the doorstep of her half-brother JUSTIN, a wealthy pharmaceutical rep, convincing him to become her legal guardian. She tries forging a connection with Justin, unaware that he's struck a crooked deal with SALTIS, a drug-dealing doctor, flipping opiate samples for extra cash. When the deal goes sour, Justin ends up murdering Saltis, only for Valentyne pledges to help her brother cover up the crime. But as Justin's paranoia ramps up and simmering tensions come to a boil, Valentyne must reckon with a wrenching question: what if the man she swore to help protect is the one from whom she needs protection?
