I love both films, The Lake House and Just Like Heaven. It would be lovely to see how The Tattered Book manages to keep audiences guessing until that big third-act revelation. All the best.

Heidi Schussman Heidi, this is a very engaging and emotionally appealing concept with a strong romantic-fantasy hook. The idea of a character falling in love across the boundary of fiction and reality is both imaginative and accessible, and the comparison to The Lakehouse and Just Like Heaven positions it well commercially.
The logline is clear and compelling, with a strong central dilemma that creates immediate emotional stakes. The concept of choosing between reality and a fantastical love is especially effective.
The synopsis builds the dual worlds nicely, and the interplay between Cassi and Marco is intriguing. The gradual shift from curiosity to emotional connection works well, and the mystery element adds an extra layer of tension. The inclusion of the elderly patient is a nice touch that brings warmth and levity.
Tightening a few moments and clarifying how the worlds connect at a deeper level could make the narrative even stronger, but overall this is a very marketable and heartfelt concept with strong audience appeal.
