SYNOPSIS:

In the suffocating heat of rural Mississippi, 14-year-old Shanniya "Niya" Abner begins to experience disturbing visions tied to a vast field of kudzu that has swallowed the land for generations. When her best friend vanishes and is later found dead under brutal and unexplainable circumstances, fear grips the community and suspicion falls on a known killer passing through the area. As law enforcement searches for answers, Niya becomes increasingly connected to something deeper beneath the surface. Her visions intensify, revealing fragments of a past that refuses to stay buried. What begins as a manhunt slowly unravels into something far older and more sinister, rooted in violence, memory, and the land itself.
