Verity Gossard is a forensic scientist with the ability to travel through time. When a case pulls her between two different decades, she discovers that solving the case may make the difference between her living, dying, and her secret getting out.
SYNOPSIS:
Verity Gossard is a forensic scientist on the cusp of getting her Doctorate. On the eve of defending her dissertation, she is placed on a case. As she investigates, she discovers that it is tied to a case in the 1980s.
Unlike most investigators, Verity has possessed the ability to jump through time since she was a child. Using this, she gets intertwined in both investigations in vastly different roles. In the present, she's one of the head investigators. In the past, she's one of the prime suspects.
Her secret is known to a select few and it seems as if someone knew has figured it out. What's more, her abilities seem to be evolving and she discovers that someone wants her dead and with only a vague warning of what's to come, Verity doesn't know if she can save her own life.

Unique concept, Mary Helen Norris!
I think your logline needs some work. Like the stakes. What happens if she doesn’t figure out why she was pulled between two different decades?
Here’s a logline suggestion: “When a case pulls her between two different decades, a forensic scientist with the ability to time travel investigates why and tries to get back home, while protecting her secrets and her life.”
Or this: "When a case pulls her between two different decades, a forensic scientist with the ability to time travel investigates why and tries to get back home, all while protecting her secrets and her life.”
I don't know the full story, so "tries to get back home" might not be right.
