A series set in Austin, a city best known for its entertainment, decadence, and dirty southerners, follows six employee’s two Name Partners, three Senior Partners, and a legal secretary living and working in the brutal world of high-end litigation at Russell & Kane, Austin’s most prestigious law firm. This elite group of brilliant, aggressive, amoral, wealthy, ultimate schemers and dysfunctional lawyers, whose tactics to always win frequently cross over into illegal acts, live on a southern rich kid's playground feeding off each other's power and weaknesses, while the three Senior Partners are each vying for the ultimate place at the top; having their name next on the wall. The group includes Harlow Russell, an intimidating and overbearing Name Partner; Jack Kane, a well-respected power hungry old-money socialite and Name Partner; Sawyer Holland, a young manipulative genius and Senior Partner nicknamed the “killer” due to her being that good; Duke Daniels, a sweet-talking Senior Partner and ambitious winner; Smith Prescott, a new talented Senior Partner from a rival firm known for challenging the status quo; and Mara Hernández, the firm's legal secretary and confidant who keeps the firm running.
