Five misfit millennial friends living together in a London flat juggle living in a Gen Z world, cultural divides, questionable growing pains, and everything else in between.
SYNOPSIS:
A 7 half-hour sitcom.
“Cock-Up’s” follows five friends, struggling to find happiness and joy in the over-priced, over-worked, social media-obsessed, Gen Z ran world they were told they were supposed to look forward to. Sawyer Lake- known as the (foreign one), is a vain, “painfully American,” neat freak who takes life way too seriously. She has been engaged to her fiancé Billy for 7 years and works as baking blogger for the world's most sexist boss. Billy James- known as the (rich one), is Sawyer’s fiancé. He’s a spoiled asshole who always comes off as offensive without meaning to be. His father is an overbearing finance executive who made him follow in his footsteps, so he caved and became a finance bro. Maggie Khan- known as the (free one), is a bubbly, ditzy, free-spirited doula, who grew up on an organic commune. She is the star of her own show. Her optimism, positive attitude, new passions, and hobbies drive others crazy. Alfie Wolff- known as the (logical one), is a caring, strait-laced lawyer. He’s cool without trying to be, and everyone gravitates toward him without ever really knowing why. Alfie is a by-the-book kind of man who only thinks with logic and brains, never with emotions or heart. And lastly, Oliver Louis- known as the (pretty one), is Billy’s gay, cocky former all-star athlete childhood friend. He has no passion or drive, so he works as a cook at the pub next door. He is often seen as dim-witted, but good-natured. Throughout their friendship, the group must whether idiotic failures, societal pressures, the reality of trying to be an adult, romance, scandal, relationships and lampooned London social lives.
