A straight-arrow judge - newly willing to bend the rules he's upheld for 30 years - grounds a hi-flying celebrity life coach by sentencing him to a radically different community service... after the coach nearly kills someone while drunk driving.

SYNOPSIS:

NORTH DRURY is an all-too-hip, celebrity life coach who needs help himself. He is arrested for a DUI where a man is seriously injured. The case falls under the jurisprudence of JUDGE RICHARD SURCH. Surch is an old school man's man who, after a recent tragedy, evaluates his life and realizes he's been on autopilot for 25 years. A former civil liberties activist, he went into the system to change it. Instead, it beat him - made him numb. He has just two years left to change his legacy. It will require manipulating the system and bending the rules he's always upheld.

Surch's agent of change? Is Drury. He sentences the unwilling North to two years of community service. Each week Surch forces North to help someone whom the system (or the judge himself) has failed.

Two men whose worlds have collapsed - who don't like or respect each other - must work together to redeem themselves, change their legacies, and help others in the process...

Surch compels Drury to look in the mirror and finally begin FACING NORTH.
