A college football star is about to fulfill his lifelong dream of making it into NFL, but on the eve of the NFL draft he suffers from a near fatal, career ending motorcycle accident.   Unemployed and racked by chronic pain, he gets hooked on heroin and opioids and ends up as a drug enforcer for his childhood best friend.
