SYNOPSIS:
Karina Nair (20’s) is a brilliant yet rebellious archaeologist who fiercely advocates radical theories challenging accepted history. Driven, curious, and unapologetically defiant, she believes evidence of an ancient technologically advanced world has been deliberately hidden or erased. When she unlocks the power of a mysterious Hindu artifact, Karina is transported to ancient India, where she is confronted with the staggering revelation that she is the reincarnation of princess Sita, a truth that ignites fear, resistance and self-doubt - accepting it would not only mean abandoning her career and the recognition she craves, it would signify the loss of her identity. Besides, how could she, a young South Asian woman raised in a middle-class family from Los Angeles, California, possibly be a Hindu Goddess? She also encounters the noble Ram and the seductive Ravan, two rivaling kings who both declare their undying love for her. The onslaught of conflicting feelings overwhelms her and suddenly, she’s no longer sure of herself. The triggering of abandonment issues from long-buried childhood wounds only makes her feel more uncertain and lost. Caught between doubt and destiny, devotion and desire, Karina must navigate love, power, and identity across two worlds — unaware that her choices will awaken something ancient within her, radically reshaping who she is becoming
