On My Own is a romantic comedy series that follows Kevin Johnson (KJ), an undercover FBI agent as he goes to college in Virginia to find a major drug and pill supplier, all while living there with no family, no friends and no help from the FBI.
SYNOPSIS:
ON MY OWN (Pilot Episode) follows Kevin "KJ" Johnson, a charming but reckless young man with a knack for getting into trouble. After a series of missteps, KJ, is forced to go undercover at Hampton State University to investigate a string of crimes involving drugs and potential human trafficking. Although uninterested in school, KJ must navigate college life under his own unpredictable nature.
KJ’s arrival on campus is filled with comedic mishaps, from clashing with students and dealing with mistaken identities to discovering his supposed dorm room is already occupied. Alongside his undercover mission, KJ gets caught up in college drama and budding friendships, especially with the spirited Stephanie and her roommates. A wild back-to-school party leads to an unexpected drug bust, and KJ’s mission intensifies as he realizes his assignment is only beginning.
With humor, suspense, and a cast of quirky characters, ON MY OWN explores KJ's journey as he balances college life with his role as an undercover agent, finding himself entangled in both the hilarious and the dangerous sides of college life.

hey there. Probably needs to highlight some sort of conflict eg he is torn between making a choice or some issue/back story with the judge maybe? But then again that all sounds dramatic and the genre says romance/comedy - who is the romantic interest? Should this be alluded to in the longline? "given a second chance by a judge who also happens to be his love interests over-bearing grandmother?"

What's the teen's goal in the story, Kevin Johnson?

Maurice Vaughan His goal is to be the first one in his family to graduate from college without any help from his family and friends.

Claude Gagne KJ is a young man who has been acting out due to not being raised in a stable home. Instead of sending him to jail the Judge is helping him out by sending him to college as an undercover student. After helping out the judge, KJ is free to go but wants to stay in school to get his degree on his own.

Kevin Johnson, that sounds like his life goal instead of his story goal.
If KJ is the main character, I think his story goal would be something that deals with being an undercover student ("Instead of sending him to jail the Judge is helping him out by sending him to college as an undercover student").
