After her father's mysterious death, Lynn Graham, receives instructions in the mail, from her now deceased father (a scientist for a covert program), that he can only trust her to find and protect an ancient alien text and convince the government not to cancel Operation Hermes or there will be grave consequences for humankind.      

SYNOPSIS:

DOCTOR GEORGE GRAHAM (50s) mails a classified package to his daughter

and is caught and interrogated. Dr. Graham says he does not agree with

the NASA Deputy Director's decision to shut down his secret program. His

former co-worker, TOM SCHAFER (40s) tells George it'll be okay and

medically induces a coma. DEPUTY DIRECTOR RADFORD (50s), tells Tom to

find the "Book of Hermes" so they can tie up loose ends and cut the

program.

Tom informs LYNN GRAHAM (20s), that her father passed

away and asks her to help find his journal they want back. Lynn gets her

father's letter the same day with coded instructions for three goals 1)

find his journal 2) find Anne Green to explain 3) find Nick Carter to

protect her.

Lynn dupes Tom and heads to an alien tourist trap where

the journal is hidden. She is interrogated by nutty locals and is

eventually caught by Tom after she tries to escape in an ultralight to

meet Anne Green. Lynn wakes in a cell to meet ANNE GREEN (mid-50s), who

sold her out. Anne tells of her father's work and they need her for her

genes to get alien messages.

They take her to Chief Mountain in Montana where Lynn

is ZAPPED with an alien LASER and instantly telepathically communicates

with her father. He tells her to get away from the NASA people ASAP and

find Nick. Lynn jumps off the cliff on Chief Mountain to get away and a

blue laser from the sky catches her and brings her softly to the bottom.

NICK CARTER (30s), is waiting for her there (her father told him to be

there), videotaping the blue laser that saved her.

Nick and Lynn are chased and almost caught by Tom. But

Nick shoots Tom, an alien secretly trying to help them. Nick and Lynn

make it to a hideout to rest. HOPE (30s), also an alien sent to help

them after Tom was injured, leads them to the Kalispell Airport where

the Deputy Director will be to force a meeting with him.

On the way, police descend on them, a laser

incapacitates the police and they escape to the airport. Hope gets them

all on the plane, uses her alien power to influence the pilots to fly

the plane. They confront Director Radford but he refuses to budge. Hope

abducts the plane, delivers Radford to aliens who interrogate him.

The jet appears on final at the Ames NASA Research

Center (home of Operation Hermes). The pilots don't know how they got

there. Deputy Director Radford signs a memo re-instating the program

under threat of more alien abduction. Radford is committed for "mental

exhaustion" and Anne Green is appointed NASA's acting Deputy Director

and head of Operation Hermes.

Lynn transcribes telepathic communications with her

father as a news program reports "scientific technology breakthroughs

that will revolutionize the way we generate energy." Lynn and her father

watch Nick, the head of the new energy program explain the

breakthrough.
