A violently unstable young woman becomes the "bait" for a secret FBI operation to trap serial killers - all the while planning her escape so she can satisfy the craving to murder again.
SYNOPSIS:
Post-pandemic, the FBI has a severe problem – a plague of serial killers infecting the country. Overwhelmed by too many cases to investigate, Deputy Assistant Director Vincent Cardona, head of the elite Serial Crimes Task Force, has developed a unique solution... an experimental program utilizing a top-secret algorithm to pinpoint the hunting grounds of the most violent criminals. Special Agents Adrien Randolph and Steven Blake are handpicked by Cardona to run “Operation Rubicon” in the field. Enter Leslie (formerly Nora Gedrick), a beautiful and brilliant woman in custody for committing a grisly murder - of a male serial killer. With an eidetic memory and a genius-level IQ, she is the perfect recruit. Trained, and then deployed by the Bureau, Leslie has a single objective - dangle herself as “bait” wherever a twisted predator lurks so Randolph and Blake can swoop in and apprehend the suspect. But as she helps them solve each case, Leslie grows progressively more erratic and unpredictable. How long can her FBI handlers trust Leslie before they must cancel the high-risk initiative... and cut their “bait” loose?
