When a spoiled Indian-American tech heiress fails a sobriety test in stilettos, she is forced to trade in her designer lifestyle for bedpans and dowdy scrubs to avoid prison.

SYNOPSIS:

Shana Jay spends her days on the beach and her father’s money in upscale nightclubs until she’s pulled over weaving down Santa Monica Boulevard.

Unable to flirt & con her way out of a traffic violation, Shana shows up unprepared for the real world and the emotional trauma of working at UCLA Hospital. After learning about life and death in an up-front and personal way, Shana, with the help of her new friend Lindy, discovers that others have lives nowhere nearly as blessed as her own.

She encounters a comatose, homeless woman, known only as ‘Medusa Jones’. Shana becomes drawn to Medusa and takes pity on her and struggles to understand how the woman ended up homeless and alone.

Eventually, Shana and Lindy embark on a personal mission to uncover the mystery and reunite Medusa with her long-lost family.

Shana and Lindy discover the shattering reason Medusa ended up homeless on the beach. In the end, they bring about a tear-filled reunion between Medusa and her family.

Of course, it all ends in a Bollywood-style dance party!
