Hard-boiled ex-navy seal turned Security Guard Joel “Badass” Coltrane fights his way out of the middle of a war between rival Mafioso and Harlem drug gangs for the biggest shipment of heroin in New York’s history while trying to clear himself of a murder rap 

SYNOPSIS:

There is a drug war in Manhattan between the most powerful downtown New York Mafia organization, the Arcado Family, and the largest uptown Harlem Drug Gang, the Newjacks. One is slowly killing off the other.

Kinky Bricks, an alcoholic and prostitute, inadvertently witnesses the killing of her brother Ben by Slickness, a black female killer from the Newjacks. Before she herself is killed she is saved by hard-boiled Security Guard Joel “Badass” Coltrane but gets away from him. A witness who knows Coltrane and has a grudge against him pins the murder on him. Coltrane escapes from the Police. He has to get to Kinky to clear his name but that’s not going to be so easy.

Ben was a member of the Arcado Family who tried to set up a drug operation in Harlem and for that he was killed. Knowing one of Ben’s friends from the Family, Kinky goes to Micky “Nightstick” Solano, a member of it, begging to be hidden. At first the Family doesn’t want anything to do with her but when they discover that she could bring down the Newjacks with information she has on the death of her brother they set up a meeting. For the girl they want their shipment of heroin coming in at the end of the month. After much bloodshed trying to get Kinky the Newjacks agree. While all this is going on Coltrane is risking his life trying to get to Kinky, using all his street connections including a tough-as-nails Mother Superior, a street-wise Girlfriend and her overly-protective Brother.

At a pier where the heroin shipment is coming in, Kinky is given up by the Arcado Family for the drugs. The Newjacks take Kinky but double cross the Arcado Family. The Arcado family however, were prepared for this eventuality. All hell breaks lose.

Coltrane is killed saving Kinky and the Police take her in. The Newjacks, as well as the Arcado Family, are taken down.
