A washed up, womanizing, alcoholic country singer is forced to reevaluate his life when he discovers not only is he dying of cancer, but he also has a twenty-year old daughter that he never knew he had.

SYNOPSIS:

An unapologetic, honest story of a hard-shelled musician, Beau Macintosh, a one-time country star. Now washed up and diagnosed with terminal cancer, Beau tries to make amends for his past by connecting with his long-time estranged ex-girlfriend, Carol, the only real love of his life. However, upon returning to his hometown, Beau is shocked to discover that he's the father of Carol's daughter, Sara, a promising young singer. Seeing that his daughter has a talent for music, Beau encourages her to follow him on the road, hoping that he'll get a chance to get to know her. Hardened by life and his environment, Beau rediscovers his love and passion for music as he and Sara begin to bond and even perform together. Beau spends the last days of his life, rekindling his love for Carol and building a relationship with the daughter he never knew he had.
