A magazine assistant, a photographer, a booker, and a model are unwittingly forced to work together to survive and extricate themselves from a Russian mafia's sex-trafficking ring.
SYNOPSIS:
Russian sex trafficker Andreï Solonik blackmails Paul Marconi, owner of Metropolis, a world-famous model agency, for illicit work visas to bring eastern girls to France. Paul fears for his life and needs his daughter Laura to take over the model agency, but Laura wants nothing to do with her estranged father's empire. Escaping him, she prefers to waste her life in a dead-end job as a fashion magazine editor-in-chief assistant for megalomaniac fashion god Gabriel Seligne.
Down-on-his-luck fashion photographer Sebastian Farros exhausts his income and housing options. Inès, his former supermodel ex-girlfriend turned full-time drug addict, kicks him out of his own flat, having accused him publicly of rape, damaging Sebastian's reputation.
Marylin, a prominent crackerjack model booker who used to manage Inès in her heyday, is called to put out a fire on a highly anticipated new fragrance commercial shoot, starring Inès' younger sister Amber - today's number one supermodel and her sole remaining client since Inès' demise. Amber is in full drug-fueled paranoia crisis and kills herself in the makeup trailer.
Edward Vergès, the world's leading luxury brand group owner, sees his new fragrance campaign and group's image threatened by Ambers' death. He fires Marylin, putting her in the spotlight.
Ravaged by grief and vengeance, Inès gives a poignant, heart-rendering press conference about her young sister's death, publicly attacking the industry and Vergès for wrongful death.
Checking on her father, who oddly disappeared, Laura has a violent altercation with Andreï and his besotted lover Claire, a crooked Interpol agent. Claire's husband is Chief of Interpol.
