When a group of inner-city kids lose their ball in the yard of a mysterious old woman, they must survive the night against an ancient demon who has been stealing children's souls on cursed, stolen land for centuries.
SYNOPSIS:
In the summer of 1989, a group of neighborhood kids in Cleveland, Ohio, lose their ball in the yard of a reclusive old woman known only as the Green Lady. Legend says any child who enters her yard never comes back.
As Nikki vanishes into the Green Lady's house, Detective Ricks, a burned-out cop haunted by decades of missing child cases, begins to connect the dots. The same house. The same old woman. The same story, going back to 1975, 1943, and even 1913 in Tennessee.
The Green Lady is not a woman. She is a 3,000-year-old evil spirit, the keeper of a portal on stolen Indian land. Every child who enters her yard is consumed, transformed into a plant, and their soul is fed to the demonic tree in her living room.
But in the end, as Ricks tells the story to his grandkids at a campfire years later, a light flickers in a cabin across the water. A security guard smiles and asks: "Do you know the one about the Green Lady?">
###span class="">The curse is broken. But evil only waits.
