In sun-soaked Durban, a fiery Indian teen tennis prodigy and her washed-up, vodka-soaked coach must outwit meddling mums, club snobs, and romantic rivals as they battle for victory at the city’s glitziest country club tournament—where the real prize isn’t just a shot at Wimbledon, but the freedom to take charge of their destiny.
SYNOPSIS:
Aparna Chaudari, a tempestuous 17-year-old tennis star from a wealthy Durban Indian family, dreams of winning the Palisades Country Club’s Exhibition Tournament for a chance at the Wimbledon qualifiers. Her formidable mother, Harini, has other plans: marriage to a privileged suitor. When she accidentally 'kills' her latest coach, Aparna must train with “Ace” Adamson—a disgraced ex-pro desperately trying to drown his past. Together, they face her scheming mother, his petty boss, blackmail, club politics, and the heartbreaks of romance. As the pressure mounts and all seems lost, Aparna risks everything for her dream—on and off the court, and Ace risks himself for redemption. From the steamy tropics of Durban to the hallowed grass of Wimbledon, a journey of love, sets and cliff hanger match points.
