SYNOPSIS:

Frank Vargas is a decorated Green Beret who has spent his life believing one thing above all else: a good man protects his people by moving faster than fear. After returning home and joining the LAPD with members of his former unit, Frank tries to accept civilian law, but the slow machinery of justice feels like surrender. When his brother Danny is murdered by a cartel-connected contract killer, Frank’s grief collides with his training. He does not set out to become a vigilante. He tells himself he is finishing the work, the system is too weak, too slow, or too compromised to finish.

Detective Nadia Soto becomes the moral counterweight to Frank’s war. She understands his rage, but she also understands the cost of men who believe certainty gives them permission. To Soto, the law is not paperwork — it is the only barrier between justice and sanctioned violence. As Frank’s covert unit begins dismantling criminal networks across Los Angeles, the men around him reveal the different wounds war left behind: Boone wants punishment he can feel, Doc wants to save lives without becoming corrupted by the tools of death, Moss wants to prove he still belongs, and Ives wants to turn Frank’s grief into doctrine.

The deeper Frank goes, the more he realizes he has not created justice — he has created a movement. Ives, colder and more strategic, sees the vigilante war as scalable, repeatable, and politically useful. Frank finally understands that the true enemy is no longer only the cartel, the killer, or the powerful man who signed his brother’s death warrant. The true enemy is the idea he gave his men: that righteous violence can replace the law. To stop the war he started, Frank must turn against his own unit, save the man he wants dead, and surrender to Soto — choosing accountability over vengeance for the first time in his life.
