SYNOPSIS:

Elara, a gifted Foley artist in Los Angeles, spends her days creating sound for films—footsteps in sand, rain on rooftops, the subtle tremble of a door closing. But in her own life, she has chosen silence. Eighteen months after her husband Marcus died in a car accident—following a fight neither of them resolved—Elara remains suspended between guilt and grief. She keeps his phone line active, unable to let go of the last thread connecting her to him.

One night, overwhelmed by memory, she records the sound of rain hitting her skylight and sends it to Marcus’s old number, expecting the message to fail. Instead, she receives a reply.

The number now belongs to Julian, an ambitious architectural lighting designer temporarily recovering from a workplace accident that left him blind. Isolated in darkness and stalled professionally, Julian is drawn to the anonymous woman who sent him rain.
