In the wake of his parents’ death, Chase stumbles into an unexpected love—one that reshapes his understanding of family, loss, and himself.
SYNOPSIS:
After the tragic loss of his parents in a devastating car crash, Chase is left emotionally shattered. Once a gifted artist, he abandons his pencils and paintbrushes in favor of alcohol, desperately trying to numb the pain and make sense of his parents' untimely deaths.
His life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Sara at an art museum, standing in front of a painting created by Chase’s late father. Their connection begins as a gentle friendship, one that helps Chase begin to face his grief. As their bond deepens, Sara's feelings for Chase grow stronger, but he struggles to open his heart, still guarded by the pain and fear that have haunted him.
Encouraged by Sara, Chase begins therapy and slowly learns to confront his emotions. He also discovers that Sara has a young son, Brandon, who becomes an unexpected source of comfort and healing. Through Brandon’s innocence and affection, Chase starts to rebuild the sense of family he thought he lost forever.
With Sara’s belief in his talent, Chase begins to rediscover his voice—not just as an artist, but as a writer. Through creativity and connection, he learns to navigate his grief and reconnect with his sense of purpose. As he pieces together the fragments of his past, Chase finds the courage to imagine a future shaped by love, memory, and the healing power of words.
