STONERS VS. ZOMBIES
By Joseph D. Wulczynski

GENRE: Horror, Comedy
LOGLINE:

The meek may inherit, but stoners shall save the Earth

SYNOPSIS:

The incoming US Presidents' transitional team is researching "last minute" policies by the previous administration that may embarrass the new president. They discover Executive Order RV69MJ13 which authorizes the spraying of marijuana crops with what is referred to as the Romero Virus. The intent is that when someone smokes from one of the crops sprayed, the virus will temporally paralyze the individual. The hope is that they will be so freaked out; they will give up smoking marijuana. Due to the slight chance that if one of the individuals dies while in that short period, they could come back as a flesh-eating zombie; the new administration decides to cancel that project. They do discover that some unknown crops in Southern California had already been sprayed. Fast forward to the era of the new administration. Two stoners accidentally sell some of the weed to a client which kicks off the beginning of a zombie apocalypse at the farmhouse they share with their college fraternity, the Misfits. While dealing with the new situation, they are joined by zombie killer Jake Luger whose mission is to stop the spread of the virus. The group learns that the zombies have spread to a nearby town. Jake, the stoners, and Horace take off in a Detroit Muscle Car to save humanity but have to stop for gas along the way. Once they arrive in town, Jake learns that the President has authorized the use of a tactical nuclear weapon if they fail to stop the zombie apocalypse. It's a race against the clock as the men search the town and put the dead to rest.
