ROAD TALES
By Joseph D. Wulczynski

GENRE: Horror
LOGLINE:

The road trip game that will give you nightmares

SYNOPSIS:

Four college kids are headed to an annual bible camp in the woods. On the way, they pick up a mysterious hitchhiker. One student suggests that they play a travel game. The hitchhiker suggests they play a game entitled Road Tales. An observer spots something discarded on the side of the road and has to entertain the rest with a tale of horror on how that item ended up on the road. There are four stories. A pair of tennis shoes influences the first tale: The Reincarnation of Eddie Gein. College roommates suffer through the death of someone close. Eventually, it is discovered that one of them is the reincarnation of serial killer Ed Gein who has plans on finishing what he began decades ago. A discarded cooler leads to You Don’t Mess with Jimmy, about a bullied child whose drawings of monsters manifest and protect him. A book with its pages flapping leads to the story of Three Pages where a deaf girl is stalked by an unseen killer. Property of Me is influenced by a discarded game controller and is about a murdered young man who rises from the dead to seek revenge and regain his stolen property. As the last tale begins, we discover that death awaits our traveler.
