When a poison dart kills the richest man in a small-town tavern, a young Detective Inspector, lovingly mentored by the ghost of Sherlock Holmes, has 60 minutes to solve the murder before a global cybercriminal network blows the tavern sky-high.

SYNOPSIS:

On a Tuesday, Two-for-One Night at a centuries-old European tavern, Detective Inspector MARIA Martin (25) and her Constable, HENRY Gruber (23), are on a date when the lights go out. The town's wealthiest man, WINSTON Edwards (40), ends up face-down on the floor with a poison dart in his spine. What begins as a romantic evening becomes a locked-room murder investigation with the most unlikely of consulting detectives: The Ghost of SHERLOCK Holmes (61), visible and audible only to Maria. Before the body is even bagged, the tavern's screens flicker to life with the ominous voice of OBSIDIAN HEX, a global cybercriminal network of hackers, extortionists, blackmailers, and killers. They jam all phones and Wi-Fi, display a live map of everyone's movements, and issue an ultimatum: solve Winston's murder in 60 minutes, or they blow the place up. Their motive? They can't extort cryptocurrency from a dead man.

Trapped inside are a colorful cast of suspects: CAT Dunlop (25), the sharp-tongued Irish bartender who despised her boss; the MAYOR Arin Dillon (35), being blackmailed by the deceased; the PASTOR Liz Briggs (40), a gin-loving woman of God with a complicated history with Winston; TAD Dooley (30), an Irish ex-Mayoral candidate with a drug habit and a grudge; JESUS (AKA Hey-Zeus) Rivera (30), Tad's Spanish husband with a secret financial arrangement with Obsidian Hex; JOHN Wilson (25), a brooding carpenter with a criminal record and no comment; and AMY Wang (25), a mysterious Chinese woman on what appears to be a first date, but is anything but.

Maria conducts rapid-fire interviews, decodes body language, and whispers strategy to a bewildered Holmes — who is simultaneously processing the existence of World War I, World War II, the moon landing, and something called "the Google." Meanwhile, LES Zlobin (15), a reformed Obsidian Hex defector hiding in a garbage bin outside the loo, connects Maria to Interpol Agent ART Simmons (30) via children's walkie-talkies. A bomb-sniffing rat named Arnold is deployed. Financial records, a burner phone, and a rewritten will all surface under pressure. The will reveals Winston was nearly broke. His crypto fortune was siphoned by Obsidian Hex. He planned to propose to Cat that very night. The dart was meant for Winston by Obsidian Hex operative Jesus, who panicked in the dark. But it was Amy Wang, the Chinese ambassador's daughter and intelligence operative, who snatched the dart from Jesus's trembling hand and threw it herself, eliminating a man her government had been tracking as a cybercrime asset. She vanishes via helicopter extraction before she can be arrested. In the final twist, Cat, who inherits the tavern, four apartment buildings, and half a million Euros, sends a coded text to an unknown contact: "Les Zlobin is Interpol's new hacker. Amy Wang and Agent Art Simmons are heading your way. Time to relocate. The Boss." Sherlock, still watching from the shadows, admits he's grown fond of Maria and may have to stick around to help her solve a few more cases.
