SYNOPSIS:
With recent changes in the legalization of same sex marriages, couples are finding that they have a new set of decisions that they must face now. How couples chose to handle the option of marriage and becoming openly gay in an ever evolving society can cause unanticipated conflict.
The city finds itself in the middle of a crisis as there is a serial killer on the loose that is targeting the gay community. The police must determine if this is a hate crime or a killer that is motivated by something else. As they are trying to find the killer and restore safety to the community, a rising star in politics runs his platform on inclusion, reducing crime and ensuring the safety of the LGBT community.
A cold case detective, Allen Marx, is making his presence known in the community while fighting his own bitterness related to being black balled to cold cases. Confident in his abilities and experience his attitude minimizes his ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships within his precinct. With the changes on the horizon he uses his own personal motivations to assist the homicide unit in bringing the serial killer to justice.
With each additional murder Allen understands more and more about the motivations of the killer. He thoroughly scours through clues that the killer is unknowingly leaving about his secret identity. When the murders unfortunately strike home for Allen, solving the crime and bringing the killer to justice becomes the single most important thing for Allen and the gay community.
