SYNOPSIS:

Kathleen Peters is studying to become a counsellor for teenagers, and starts meeting with a girl, Kelly, who is in the beginnings of an abusive relationship. As Kay tries to help her cope and handle the situation she finds herself in a new relationship with a British foreign exchange student, Trent. But as her relationship with Trent progresses, Kay begins to see similarities between Trent's behavior and the young girl's boyfriend. Trent turns out to be possessive, irrational and even violent and Kay must figure out how to take her own advice and save herself.
