Decorated officer Steven Ward defends his brutal methods as just part of the job, but as the interrogation digs deeper, his chillingly pragmatic worldview reveals a darkness that predates the badge.
SYNOPSIS:
Steven sits calmly, almost bored watching Carter come into the room carrying case files. He starts the interrogation with seemingly innocuous questions about a recent case where excessive force was alleged. Ward deflects, claiming the suspects were violent repeat offenders who deserved what they got. Carter presses harder, presenting concrete evidence of Ward's brutality and bending of the rules. As Carter continues with the questions, he soon finds out how demented Steven is, and why no matter what he’s been charged with, when he’s cleared he’ll continue where he left off.
