After years of silence, Giselle finally confesses the dark reason why she kept Rosa's father away, but Rosa's own carefully guarded secret threatens to unravel everything.
SYNOPSIS:
Rosa is standing in her living room in front of her apartment door when her mother Giselle comes in radiating happy energy, but Rosa is annoyed, hoping the conversation they’re about to have is short and sweet, getting straight to the point. Giselle tries to make small talk, and Rosa brushes her off, heading to the table so they can eat and have their discussion about her father. Giselle continues trying to make small friendly talk, and this causes Rosa to say, “You can leave if you don’t want to speak on the topic about why I invited you over.”
Fed up with Rosa’s attitude, Giselle begins explaining why she kept Rosa’s father out of her life, but Rosa isn’t satisfied, believing Giselle is telling her lies, so… She reveals what she believes is the truth, and this turns the simple conversation into words of truthful hate.
