SYNOPSIS:

In A Stone’s Throw, a down and out baseball team desperately seeks a new star pitcher they lost early in their season from an injury causing them team to go into a downward moral spiral. While sitting in a meeting, the general manager, out of the corner of his eye, catches a newsreel playing on the conference room TV that shows a boy in Gaza throwing rocks at a tank. The general manager notices something unique with his throw and instantly realizes he needs to find this young man and see if he can pitch professional baseball and get their team out of their slump. Jack Winter, the General Manager embarks on a journey to the Middle East to find this young man. He returns back to the U.S and goes through a series of challenges and hurdles as they make their way through a victorious baseball season.
