SYNOPSIS:

During a horrific car crash in which his brother is killed, a young man simultaneously survives a (NDE) near-death experience and develops psychic abilities allowing him to communicate with the afterlife. He undergoes premonitions and lucid dreams foretelling his entire family will unexpectedly die.

On the accident anniversary, he heads to a remote lake campground to meet his friends for an ash-scattering ceremony and to build a memorial to his late brother. At a lakeside convenience store, he encounters a young girl and her mother who strangely seem familiar.

Once at the lake, the young man reveals his paranormal experiences and his late family are benevolent spirits warning him that the Reaper of Souls is stalking him to collect his soul. At first, his friends don't believe his claims until poltergeist hauntings, carnal desires, and dangerous mishaps plague them all.

During a fireworks explosion that injures the young man, his brother's spirit reveals that a young girl from the store is the brother's love child. Then a final battle ensues between spirit balls - the forces of good and evil that test his true intentions and his friends' sanity.

Undaunted by high strangeness and weird phenomena, they complete his brother's ash-scattering, beach memorial and depart with renewed hope. Alone at the lake memorial, he meets with his newly discovered niece and her mother when his brother's spirit returns to reassure them their lives will be filled with purpose and love but warn them to be vigilant against ever-present evil
