LOGLINE:

A young woman is forced to smuggle drugs out of South America or die if she can't pay off her outstanding debt to a vicious loan shark.

SYNOPSIS:

Carol Wilson (30s) is a beautiful young woman on the outside

and more beautiful on the inside with a heart of gold.

Christy Wilson (30s) her identical twin sister and best friend agrees whoever gets married first the other twin would help financially with their wedding. Carol is desperate to help pay for her sister's wedding. During these economic times, she doesn’t know how she is going to help pay for the wedding.

Her good friend, Goldie Morris (20s), works part-time with

Carol at Jake's Diner. Goldie has a friend of a friend that might

help her. The only problem is that he’s a loan shark, and with

nothing to lose, Carol agrees to take out the loan.

Martin Juan (40s) is a cold-blooded businessman that deals in

drugs and illegal loans. When clients are past due on their

loans Mr. Juan would accompany his men making sure his borrowers get the message. Mr. Juan would have his men beat or kill the client in default. He runs a business and

Mr. Juan’s reputation is more important to him than his money.

When Juan gives Carol the terms, she realizes there is no way she can agree. Juan makes a sweeter deal and she goes for it,

after all, she’ll be getting her job bonus soon and can repay the

loan.

Months pass sales are down and business is slow. Carol doesn’t get her bonus and loses her job. She ignores Juan and he retaliates.

Carol is forced to tell her boyfriend Steven Butler (30’s) about

the loan. Steven and Carol have been dating off and on for over three years. Steven’s mother lives with him and so he can take care of her. Carol loves that about Steven but still feels

caring for his mother puts a strain on the relationship.

Carol finally meets with Juan who has a proposition for Carol.

He’ll delete Carol’s debt if she smuggles cocaine out of

Columbia, South America, and back to the States. He’ll even let

her boyfriend goes with her. During their tens days in South America, they try to relax from all the pressure their under. They meet with the drug contact Mr. Mason (40's) ten days after their arrival in Columbia. Once Carol and Steven pick up two customized sealed bags, they head out to the airport the next morning back to the USA. Carol and Steven take a Taxi to the airport, and they get stopped at a roadblock with all the drugs in the trunk. Carol and Steven somehow misplaced their passport causing them to miss their flight. The Taxi driver finds their passports but not in time to make their flight.

The next flight going to Los Angeles is not until the next morning causing more drama as they try to leave the country. So they find a cheap hotel across the street and spend the night and start all over again the next morning. In the end, Carol pays off her debt with her life.
