A young boy's life hangs in the balance, there is a desperate need to
find a promo prize card to win millions, and despite huge setbacks a
beggar does all he can to cross the world and bring the card to him.

SYNOPSIS:

Canaan Foods Company is running a Spell-To-Win Promo for its Dream Potato Chip in which any customer who's able to find lettered cards in each bag of chips, to then be able to spell the word D-R-E-A-M, wins a whopping sum of five million dollars. Two winners had emerged already and Americans are dying to know who the last winner is going to be. Grocery stores and supermarkets around the country are dealing with mayhem as their customers will stop at nothing to have as many bags as possible!

MARWAN, 10, is on holiday with his parents, MALIK and YASMINE, in their home country, Lebanon. Malik heads a native bank of his country in America. During their short stay in Lebanon, Marwan befriends two old street beggars, SAYID and SAUD, after an act of kindness that his father strongly opposes. Before leaving Lebanon for America, Marwan informs the beggars about the promo, the scarce letter D, and that only three of them were produced for the contest.

On his return to America, Malik hears that his bank had been sanctioned by the American Government, which leads to his arrest and the seizure of his properties. Soon after, his son Marwan becomes sick and hospitalized due to a heart-related illness.

When Sayid and Saud find out about Marwan’s illness, they are desperate to help the boy in their own way. Initially, they plan to send the bulk of their savings through an illegal migrant operator, MICO. This idea had been suggested by Saud, who unfortunately died the next morning. While Saud’s corpse is being removed, Sayid finds the D card clenched in Saud's lifeless palm. Knowing how important and how much the card is sought after, Sayid decides to travel as an illegal immigrant by sea, meeting a series of unfortunate events, before he finally gets to America.

A loan shark, ANTHONY, a vicious man, and his dim-witted assistant, HARRY, will stop at nothing to win the promo’s last five million dollars. Marwan's case worsens, and his parents are in no position to help. But there comes a ray of hope for Marwan when a family offers to let him have the heart of their dying daughter. Sadly, things take a drastic turn when the father of the girl learns he's about to help the son of the man who had caused his daughter's impending death. The man vows to only let Marwan have his daughter's heart if his family pay him the sum of three million dollars, which they don’t have.

Sayid's ship docks at Mexico. At the Mexico-America border, Sayid unfortunately finds himself in the hands of the loan shark Anthony, who has somehow found out he has the “D” card. Sayid is seriously tortured but never divulges the whereabouts of the card, before he is mercifully freed by Harry. Luckily, Sayid finds his way to the hospital where Marwan is admitted to present him with the “D” card.

As they already have the “R”, “E” and “A” cards, they are steps closer to spelling DREAM to win the prize money, but there comes another hindrance. The “M” card that should have completed the word is in the pocket of one of Yasmine's dress, which she hadn’t taken out of their home before it was seized. With the interference of the Secretary of Homeland Security, overriding the objection of a greedy and blackmailing CEO of Canaan Foods Company, HENRY, Yasmine gains access into the house to retrieve the card.

Yasmine's next point of call is the Canaan Foods Company headquarters, where she is to claim the prize money, but she gets abducted by Anthony who tries to steal the cards from her, and her son’s life hangs in the balance. Thanks to the quick intervention of the police, whom Sayid had alerted, the abduction attempt is foiled and Anthony gets arrested.

Yasmine gets the prize money. The heart donor's family get paid. Marwan gets a new heart. The service of a vibrant lawyer who promises to do his best to get Malik out of prison is employed.
