The star of the Chicago Blackhawks befriends two high school computer geeks who share with him the "Mikita Matrix" - an algorithm that matches up NHL players based on height and weight - and wheedles the kids to steal the Stanley Cup to extinguish "the Curse" after he trips over the trophy fleeing a hotel tryst.
