A woman must come to terms with her chaotic nature as she fights to return home to her sister in a dying world, threatening ours in the process.

SYNOPSIS:

Upon waking up in a futuristic Los Angeles, Ember has only vague and violent flashes of memory and a persistent image of a woman who feels like home. When Ophelia, the Global Controller, discovers Ember’s existence, she tries to have her killed for Earth’s safety. Ember narrowly escapes and comes across a man from her past, Tristan, who returns a necklace to her. When she puts it on, her memories and powers come flooding back and her need to return home to her own world overwhelms her.

Ember and Tristan return to their world to find it plunged into chaos and dying. The people have lost their minds and parts of the world are swallowed up by darkness. They fight to reach Ember’s sister as Ember struggles to come to terms with her chaotic nature, her part in triggering her world’s imminent destruction, and the necessary sacrifice to prevent the end of both her world and ours.
