LOGLINE:

When legendary P.I. Allan Pinkerton and Kate Warne, the first female detective in the U.S., discover a plot to assassinate Abraham Lincoln on his way to inauguration, they must risk everything to prevent the murder of the president-elect.

SYNOPSIS:

In this tense account based on true events, America's most famous private eye goes undercover in a South that's on the brink of civil war. There, Pinkerton and his trusted agents, Kate Warne, the first female detective in the U.S., and Harry Davies, a former Jesuit priest, discover a terrifying plot against the newly elected Lincoln, one that would tear apart the country in a stunning act of violence. With the web of conspiracy and danger from "Southern patriots" growing, the three detectives must risk more than ever before to protect the future president and a nation ready to explode in fire and blood.

The dynamic characters and timely themes in THE BALTIMORE PLOT have universal appeal. This script, with twists at almost every turn, is layered and entertaining while being authentic and true to the root of the story.

This screenplay has placed highly in multiple writing competitions, as a Nicholl Fellowship Top 50 Semifinalist and a ScreenCraft True Story Semifinalist.
