SYNOPSIS:

Elodie Rush was raised in Egypt by her archaeologist parents, but they disappeared during the First World War after being called away on a secret government mission. Devastated and orphaned, she was sent away to be raised in English high society. Over a decade later, agents of His Majesty’s Secret Service show up seeking her help with a mysterious note her parents left behind. Aided by a British agent and reunited with a scoundrel she loved in her childhood, Elodie ventures back into the land of her past to find an artifact of calamitous power, pitting her against a band of ruthless Ottoman soldiers who seek it to restore their fallen empire.
