Two wealthy men recruited by a clandestine international government agency must prevent ultra-modern submarines from falling into the hands of Yemeni and Omani pirates. If left unchecked the pirates would have the whole world to ransom as a large portion of global trade passes through the Gulfs of Oman, Aden and the Arabian Sea.

SYNOPSIS:

SIR NEVILLE HAYNSWORTH is in charge of a self-funded, covert international government agency to investigate and eliminate criminal activities that risk international security. LORD TRENT ELLIS and AIDEN KNIGHT are once again recruited to help investigate an operation called Fragrant Water. They discover that a rogue Yemeni pirate's vessel, codenamed the Silent Clipper, is at the heart of Fragrant Water.

TETSUYA OSHIWARA, Yakuza leader of the Yamaguchi-Gumi and long time friend and supporter of Aiden Knight, is murdered in Japan. Aiden Knight is disheartened by the loss and tries to discover the identity of Tetsuya's assailants, resulting in an attempt on his life leaving him comatose in the aftermath of a racing accident through the streets of Rio de Janeiro.

Sir Neville Haynsworth's mole within a nefarious organization is killed in Moscow's Red Square in broad daylight as he delivers information on an operation called Fragrant Water. Sir Neville elicits the aid of Lord Trent in getting to the heart of the matter. In the due course of his investigation, Trent discovers that Aiden's accident is linked to Fragrant Water. We find that MATOUS, villain from the first Silent Partners and who's now residing in St. Petersburg, is behind a plot that puts ultra-modern Russian submarines in the hands of Yemeni and Omani pirates. Aiden awakens from his coma a changed man with restitution on him mind for his attempted murder and that of Tetsuya.
