Cancer "the scourge of modern man" is yet incurable, although, French and American scientists have discovered that in part viruses and retroviruses cause it. No cure is available as it may be that drug companies stand to make more profit from abating the symptom rather than curing the disease thereby perpetuating a drug habit.

SYNOPSIS:

ALEX WRIGHT is on the hunt of a criminal on the run.

A young girl, SUZY QUINET, makes a promise to her parents dying of cancer that one day she will discover a vaccine. While at university she is clouded by her professor's pessimistic outlook toward all drug companies. As her professor sees it, the drug companies stand to make more money by having their drugs prescribed on a regular basis than a one time fix or cure.

Suzy graduates with a PhD and is employed in a lab whereupon she accidentally discovers a vaccine that can reset the DNA to its original format eradicating the cancer cells in the process. Remembering her professor's teachings she burns the lab and escapes with the formula so as to provide it to the public.

The drug company requires the vaccine out of circulation as they stand to lose a lot of money should it hit the shelves as it offers a one-time cure. Terrorists want it as it can be modified to kill wholesale. OLD MAN WU and his triad need it, as it can generate a large and legal revenue stream when sold. The drug company's director paints her to be a leftist sympathiser and disgruntled employee; thus, PATU is brought into the fray as her act of sabotage is deemed to be a domestic terrorist act.

The chase begins with all three parties looking for the girl. PATU uncovers that the girl truly is not who she is painted out to be and that more nefarious people are at work pulling them along as puppets. Does this knowledge arrive to late? But has the drug lord been actually terminated as thought?
