By Richard Senne

GENRE: Thriller, Action
LOGLINE:

A tormented soldier must stop a deranged doctor before a fleet of drones sparks a global war.

SYNOPSIS:

Jessica Cross (27), a skilled and fearless Delta Force operator, leads her team through a chaotic forest ambush to recover a biological weapon. When the mission shifts from destruction to retrieval under conflicting orders, a catastrophic betrayal unleashes the weapon—a deadly toxin—killing her squad and leaving her as the sole survivor. Scarred but alive, Jessica’s inexplicable immunity to the toxin draws suspicion and sidelines her with a medical discharge, ending her military career.

Back in civilian life, Jessica’s relentless drive pulls her into a web of deception involving Dr. Leilah Ardashir, a scientist with a vendetta, and Dr. Narek Kamar, a manipulative physician. She uncovers stolen military secrets on USB drives—technology linked to the weapon that killed her team. Reuniting with Owen O’Connor (27), her college ex and now a drone tech CEO. Dr. Kamar secretly administers drugs to cause psychotic paranoia. She finally breaks and tries to kill a drone engineer and goes to the mountains to rest.

Jessica continues to fly drones and discovers a secret camp. As evidence mounts, her sister, Samantha discovers her survival stems from a secret childhood experiment, “Operation Golden Bird,” orchestrated by her adoptive father, General Cross, tying her immunity to a dark government past. When Ardashir, revealed as the limping figure from the mission, kidnaps Jessica, her sisters Samantha (31) and Patty (23), and Owen, the stakes skyrocket. Ardashir plans to deploy the bio-weapon over Washington, D.C., using Jessica’s blood to cure her dying son. With Owen wounded and her sisters in peril, Jessica engineers a daring escape, leveraging Owen’s cutting-edge drone—equipped with her EMP-blocking tech and harpoons—to crash Ardashir’s weaponized drone back into the enemy camp. In a brutal showdown, Jessica outwits Ardashir, crashing the drones and unleashing the toxin on the extremists, ending the threat as U.S. forces mop up the aftermath.

Offered reinstatement and a promotion, Jessica rejects the military’s call, choosing a civilian life with Owen and her family. She trades her lucky rabbit’s foot for a trip to Fiji, embracing a hard-earned peace—until the next fight finds her.
