Now the young mom has disappeared and her mother GLORIA TORRES, needs Maureen’s help. The two women have an unpredictable and unforgettable adventure as they navigate through complex circumstances.

En route, Maureen reluctantly gives a lift to a driver, ARJUN NAIR, whose car is stuck in the mud. When the child's mother is found dead, Maureen learns the suspect is actually the East Indian hitchhiker she aided.

But when she sees Arjun’s mugshot, Maureen’s journalistic instincts kick in—there’s more to this story. She presses beyond her own heartache to find justice, even if the truth hits too close to home and she has to risk everything to get it.
