SYNOPSIS:

The Golden Years is a one hour serial drama with locations that change from season-to-season. The show is a mix of “Dexter” and “Desperate Housewives” which examines the hidden secrets of our, seemingly, innocent neighbors. Diana (44) and William (42) Joyce, a recently married and retired couple living off of William’s inheritance, plan to spend their “Golden Years” traveling the world and living in its greatest cities for a year at a time. During their stay, Diana, a formally trained psychologist with a horrific past, and William, a former high school guidance counselor, plan to seek out and befriend some of that city’s worst criminals. After determining who that city’s worst pedophile, child abuser, spouse abuser, tax cheat, swindler, etc. is, they kill them, more specifically, Diana tells William to kill them. Once their job is complete, Diana and William move on to another city and start anew. William is deeply in love with Diana and will blindly do whatever she asks. He is blissfully unaware that this is not Diana’s first marriage, or killing spree, all of which have ended badly for the husband. Neither Diana nor William is aware that William’s former girlfriend Beth Collins suspects that Diana is up to no good and attempts to save William. However, she is always two steps behind.
