SYNOPSIS:

Family Politics is the story of Dr. Jasmine Carter, NYC’s premier plastic surgeon that falls in love with her client Benny Rosen, a medical malpractice attorney. Jasmine, a rising star in the Republican Party, is being courted for a possible run for a U.S. House seat. Benny is a powerful Democratic fundraiser and a talking head on cable news. Each is reluctant to openly support the others political aspirations for fear of being labeled a “turn coat” by their party. Their children, unhappy about combining households, suffer from chronic bouts of puberty, territorial disputes and sibling rivalry. The teens interest in politics range from disinterest to occupy Wall Street. A unique twist of left vs. right is alive and well in this amiable political comedy.
