Forced to escape custody and hunted by federal agents, Jackson uncovers a secret network of senior military leaders—Praetorian—who believe the President’s foreign policy threatens national survival. Their leader is Jeff Miller, Jackson’s former closest friend, now radicalized and serving as Praetorian’s execution arm. When Jackson learns their strike will occur that night during the President’s appearance in New York City, he races to stop a precision attack designed to cripple the Secret Service and trigger national chaos.
