A Korean War veteran tells a young Marine Corporal a “war story” about Corporate-American against the backdrop of his combat experience during the battle of the Chosin Reservoir. The story exemplifies what it means to “Be” a United States Marine and to carry that military legacy regardless of when you’ve served to future generations.
SYNOPSIS:
“Matt, have I ever told you any of my old war stories?” John Mueller asks young Marine Corporal Matt Zalenski. Mueller takes Zalenski on a journey of humility, candidly explaining the lessons he learned from his combat experience during the Korean war and how his experiences metaphorically correlate to a contentious encounter Mueller experienced with an arrogant attorney on Flag Day: June 14th, 1980.
