Retired railroad worker, 70-year old Eric James, only eligible for Railroad Retirement (not Social Security) finds his retirement fund bankrupt. Unable to pay property tax, he sells his boat, RV, tools, furniture, and car, but too little, too late, is evicted and homeless. Jail seems a more reliable, safer option than crime ridden homeless shelters, but how can he get into jail?

I'm not really buying that he can't get Social Security or any other form of assistance at 70. I guessing he's been collecting on SS and his pension already. And it's hard to believe a guy who owns a home, boat and RV has financial troubles.
