A global awakening is happening today to try to make sense of our planet which is running in a constant domain of disarray and confusion due to the eruption of both scientific and technological development. This anthology series deciphers people's own awakenings, defining their own paths, whether for good or evil.

SYNOPSIS:

[uh-wey-kuh-nings] is a 30-minute anthology series inspired by “Tales of the Unexpected” and intertwined with both “Black Mirror” and “Inside No.9” themes. The concept of the series and the thread within each self-contained story relates to the dictionary noun definition of an awakening. This is also inferred in the series title itself, as shown in the dictionary’s verbal pronunciation brackets. The stories integrate all or one of these definitions, setting the overarching theme of:

• the act of awaking from sleep.
• a revival of interest or attention.
• a recognition, realization, or coming into awareness of something.
